You died seven years ago today.

and I can still smell the cinnamon

that I dropped on your shirt

a ghoul from my past, unable

to move on, unable to breathe

without smelling it.

Haha, that would be me. So much for thirty days and thirty poems, huh? But I'll keep writing until I've written 30, that I swear by. This poem is much not to my liking, something I wrote quite quickly, no real inspiration behind it. Ew. I cheated bad yesterday. I had half a brownie and like an inch and a half of cake. But it had strawberries on top of it, so maybe it doesn't count? And plus, I so wasn't dizzy yesterday!! It may have been because I literally drank a gallon and a half of fluids (no joke, I kept count), but I was so happy.
