Not having schoolwork has made me so productive. Today, I've:
-gone grocery shopping
-done 4 loads of laundry (washed, dried, folded and put away
-fixed the dryer after being annoyed at it taking >3 hours to dry some towels
-balanced my checkbook
-figured out what my roommates and I owe each other for the last 6 months

And I didn't get a 50 on the last exam. :)

So...not going to take the Ebil neuro test today. I don't want to spend the next 5 hours stressing out and cramming because I haven't gone back through all the lectures yet. Would much rather spend the next 10-12 hours leisurely studying, getting a good night's sleep, and taking the test tomorrow morning ( Read more... )

And all the Indian food is finally gone!

One exam down (as of now, I got a 94.4 on it), but the two MAJOR exams left. I'm hoping to take the Behavior exam tomorrow so I have time to study before taking Neuro on Thursday night, before the anticipated rush on Friday morning. But to do that, I have to study, which means I should probably get off the computer, right?

I just went to get Indian takeout. Taj India is sooo good. Am now very stuffed. Unfortunately (?), I now have enough food to last me a week. That is, if I don't get sick of it or if it doesn't go bad first.

So it looks like my August is totally gone. But in a good way, I guess. I got the Anatomy TA position that I was applying for, so that means I'll be in Gross lab every weekday afternoon in August, which means no travelling to Europe or long trips. But I do get paid nicely. And that doesn't mean that people can't come visit *hint hint*.

Good news: I got funding for my research/job this summer. Yay money ( Read more... )

It started off with my chicken. I put a chicken in the oven to bake, and after an hour and a half, it was still raw. Not only was it still raw, the TOP of it was still raw. So how, after an hour and a half in 375F oven, is a chicken still raw on top? Stupid oven. So I tried flipping the chicken over because maybe the top coils weren't heating. ( Read more... )
