Happy Aussie bookday!

So today the book is coming out in Australia, as I understand it, so I thought I'd catch y'all up on what we know from the British release: it does seem to be in major chain bookstores, but fewer than ten copies (sometimes five or less) at each store. They do seem to be stocking it in the film/entertainment section rather than the humor, also.

WHEEE! So not going to school today, though I don't think my mum will mind if I tell her I am book shopping. XD

I haven't gotten a chance to order your book yet, but I'd like to note a funny coincidence...

Apparently, someone read something about your book somewhere and decided to ring my store up to ask if we had it. Well, we're located in the U.S., so we wouldn't have it anyway, but...

I work in a video store. Not a book store.

Well, it is a book about movies, so I suppose it could be worse. It's not like they called you looking for the collected works of Henrik Ibsen.

True; I guess one would hope that they had called bookstores first looking for it and thought they'd have better luck at a video store. It was just the utterly STRANGE nature of the request- we're not like a Sam Goody or anything, we're a rental store. We don't really carry much for sale o.o; Not to mention the woman mumbled so that I could barely understand what she was asking me "Do you have it?" "What?" "Do you HAVE IT" "Uhh...I don't understand what you're asking me, ma'am.." "DO YOU HAVE IT!! THE BOOK ABOUT MOVIES FROM THE PAPER" "o.O;; Er, no, we don't have any books here..."
