I'm having a shitty ass week and it's only Tuesday. This house is a giant piece of shit and the landlord is the diareha coating. The thing should just be demolished. Yesterday the water in the bathroom sink was coming out brown and then the pipes froze this morning and when Tyler called to tell the landlord... his responce was "Ok." ASS BAG ( Read more... )

can't you complain to someone about your landlord, like isn't there someone who can do something about it?

ok so i'm sitting here in the library with my first upset tummy about exams... and it's making me feel like i'm gunna hurl. the boys have a hockey tournament in kalkaska this weekend and they asked me to go and i really wanna go because i love watching them all play but... the wonderful, good student in me is telling me "cherie NO! you need to stay and study because you want to do good and show yourself that all this hard work this semester wasn't for nothing, to just blow it off at the end. to show my professors that i want to do good and show them that school is really important to me." what is on my mind:
a) every other time i say i'm going to study all weekend, i never do
b) but this is different because it's exams
c) i NOW have exams on tuesday, wednesday and thursday (humanities is on thursday so that's no big deal)
OH WISE ONE... give me some insight on this situation because my tummy hurts and my brain is sleepy
i love u melissa!

well i would say... hockey games are fun and i know it's tempting because you had so much fun the last time... but - how many hockey games are there... and how many times you get to take your exams?
from the queen of procrastonation herself... i think it would be a much "wiser" decision to stay home and study. even thought that's a big bummer that's why it's school... it's not fun lol - and plus like you said, the whole semester was basically for these tests... and you're gonna be soo much more stressed out trying to cram all that information and studying into one night the night before or trying to get it in in between fun times on a hockey road trip.
yes college is all about fun times... and you can have a lot of them but you also need to know when it's time to get serious or else nothing else will be worth it. there will be lots of other hockey trips i'm sure.
i love you cherie and i hope your tummy is better!
