I feel like an anachronism. There is a little shopping area close to where I live, but earlier I couldn't find a darning needle anywhere, and now I can't find a decent fountain pen. I prefer fluid ink over ballpoint-ink, is that so weird? -

One early morning a few weeks ago, I was woken up by a call on my mobile phone. General update:
-I've been on the television. Old news. I wanted to learn to knit a sock, so I got invited to the show on a rather short notice. It was pretty darn (pun!) fun, and although I didn't learn to make a sock 'on the air' I did meet some nice folks who helped me.
