I've been looking into galvanic etching, pretty much reverse electro-plating, to use in jewelry for a couple years. Apparently I move to slow. There was a how to article published in a jewelry magazine recently. Read through how they approached it, and decided to not reinvent the wheel. Have all the stuff, just need to get it set up.

The pic is aweful. The choker is nickle silver, the beaded connector is brass with an amber bead, the pendant is drilled and hammer textured nickle silver, polished brass, copper with a torch patina, and punch textured nickle silver from front to back.

Getting better at the bright metalwork thing.

Just started playing with librarything. They have over 700,000 members. I've entered 5 books so far. Out of all their users, one of my books is one of two in all the 41 or so million books cataloged on the site. Decided to read The Agricola and The Germania by Taticus. Brought it to work to read over lunch. I think I scare my coworkers.

I think some of my friends use library software to keep track of their collections. Anyone have good experience with one?

Back from the way too hot outdoor event in MO, at work, and restless. Staring at a computer monitor for nine hours after taking a week off is tedious.
