My sister is pregnant so that means no more breast milk from her for Ely. I'm happy for her but sad for little E.

last night i was feeding ely before bed and he sat up in the middle of eating and stared at a piece of art work i created that was on the wall. he babbled at it for a few seconds then went back to eating.

saturday we are taking the fast ferry to ptown for the day. it's the last day of family week. that is families with children not just queer folk. although it's really family families. anyway, i love ptown but hate driving there in the summer. the ferry is only 90 minutes.

i have a clogged duct. OMG for anyone who has never experienced this it feels like being jabbed in the boobie with a hot poker. Ouch. it hurt so bad last night i kept getting woken up when i rolled on to my stomach. i wonder if pumping 6 times a day for months on end will do damage to my nipples. some days they feel like they are being ripped off.
