Yesterday I had my first Kinder lesson. I was so incredibly nervous about it (the children, they will judge me), but John really helped calm me down and walked me through the whole lesson so when I went in I wasn't too nervous. Monday I started training with Nova and it was...um... an adventure? I just got kinda thrown into the whole teaching thing with little direction, but by the end of it I had it pretty well down so I think I'll be OK. Today was my first full day in Maryland/DC. Last night I left Kansas and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Like, it was painfully hard. I must have cried the whole flight.
