You know, I didn't accomplish nearly what I intended to today. But I spent precious time with Mr Jingles. I also befriended a kitten or two, cleaned off the front porch and rearranged a little. Mr Jingles died about an hour ago. He's been going downhill for a few days. He stayed around here yesterday, but I could tell he was declining rapidly. I kept him hydrated and gave him baby food, but his breathing had changed and he was much less active. He let me hold him yesterday afternoon for longer than he ever has. I had a pretty nice Mother's Day. I asked not to do anything today. I did have to go to Walmart early for cat and people food, and I made breakfast and did laundry. J got up at 10 and did everything else - - put up dishes, folded laundry, got garbage together. The best part was that he made dinner! So, a few weeks back, Mocha had kittens in the little cat house on the porch... a black kitten and a couple of orange ones. A few days later, one of the feral cats, a tabby, had a little calico-ish kitten, also in the little house.
