That college in TN called yesterday to ensure I had sent them all documents. They said their search was over and they would be making an offer tomorrow. They had me send a new copy of my Masters degree and wanted to talk to the registrar at Miami University. I went to the hospital today with a lodged kidney stone. I'll be setting an appointment for surgery after seeing the doc tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Since Rob and I are in a new phase, and really a new relationship, we didn't just want to put the same old rings back on. So we took them to the jewelers yesterday to have them cleaned, re-antiqued, and have symbols of each other inscribed inside each ring. No, Captain Moon is not the name of a bad superhero...I have received my confirmation letter. I have been selected as an officer in the Army Medical Service Corps. Recent events have made me feel extremely uncomfortable with interacting with the family, misunderstanding or not. I will no longer be a part of this and this is my last post to LJ. I am convinced that any effort to maintain a good relationship with the family has been thwarted.

Rob and I are amicably parting. We're both quite happy with this decision and think it's best for both of us and the kids. No arguments, worries, or hard feelings, just continuation as partners in child-rearing as friends. We wish each other the best and expect everything to be final within the next 3 months. All is well.
