I'm going to take a moment out of my day to write about certain things that I can't believe are real.

( don't read this if you're not interested in a rant about the state of affairs of the world )

Oh well, anyhow.. I read this a while back and erased a few comments. Just now I had a momentary thought of the matrix truth/illusion thing, how this is kindof a picture of one potential allegorical meaning.. people aren't stupid, they're conditioned.. And you kindof seem to be saying "Why, oh why did I take the red pill?".. (that's actually what prompted me to write, started on that path when "why did I choose red" happened to fit the rhyme, meter, AND subject of an idle throwaway [mental toy, song, ..?].. and since I'd brushed against memories of this entry with some other line I've already forgotten, this was the ultimate result.) I don't mean that as a lecturing or cautionary note or anything, I recognize that you're more prone to that little guilt than the average person. Was thinking of the complete surrender of even the faintest hint of guilt, how that seems in a way to be our "virtual steak" for which we sacrifice our humanity.. and end up going along for the ride with an asshole like dubya 'cause it's more convenient ( ... )
