New music artist I like.

So, contrary to my friends' beliefs i have always enjoyed listening to country music. I have recently found that George Jones (yeah the OLD country singer) is a really good artist. I enjoy listening to his music because i can actually relate to most of his heartbreak and drinking binges. This is what i look for in art, things that relate to me

hey now, country music is awesome. but then, i guess i'm supposed to say something like that, living in the south and all. our town is so out in the boonies. but wow that's another story. country music's awesome. have you ever heard nickle creek? they're kind of, not country, but more influenced by bluegrass, or folk, but lordy, so good!!!

it's true about listening to music that relates to you. whenever i'm depressed or something, or just really low, i listen to music with lyrics that apply to what i'm feeling, or going through or whatnot. i guess we just want to (or i want to) hear people say that they're going through the same thing as me, and that they've resolved it somehow. you know? maybe it's just me. and man, i wish i could write lyrics sometimes, because you can never find music that relates 100% to what you're going through, and wouldnt it be cool if you could write lyrics that would help others also????? --just excuse me rambling on and on and on and on.....etc.

I've never heard of nickle creek, but bluegrass is good music too. I know what you mean by the way..

ooh you should check them out, they're seriuosly good, and they've got some deep meaning in their lyrics. very poetic sometimes.
