Though spring is still my favorite season I am appreciating the fall colors quite a lot this year. I made it to Needwood Lake and walked all the way around. There were a couple of hills quite tough to get up and I did go off the correct trail but still was back at the car in just under 50 minutes. I left about two hours later than I would have liked. I guess I stayed up quite late for me but it was worth it. The drive in only took about twice as long as it takes at 4AM so I got in a bit after 7:30 and I'll only do 6 hours today because on Friday I'm out of here by 2. That's a must ( Read more... )

Here I am on a Thursday night. I just got home - well, an hour ago - I would be watching Alias but I'm into this LJ thing now. I'm so easily addicted to things. I'll probably need therapy soon.

I went to Lake Needwood again. I parked much closer to the front of the park and went over the bridge. It doesn't lead to much. I thought I could walk around the lake from there. I walked over a couple of large hills which were plenty of good exercise. Had a bit of difficulty find a way over a stream as the path kind of ended. There were lots ( Read more... )

I would have thought today would NOT have been a good day since it was the first day this week I didn't get to work early. I like to get in at 5AM so I can leave before 2 but today I got in around 11. The 40 mile drive to Rockville (MD) can be over 2 hours at times.
