My great-grandmother, being from Mexico and moving to the States late in life, did not speak English very well. She couldn't pronounce "year" and instead said "you".

I'm thinking about making it anyways and just finding stuff to put in it to carry around.

unfortunately it seems that the same weird bugs that Milwaukee has also exist in Louisville. those ugly million legged wormy things. the one I saw today was much smaller than the ones I used to have in my apartments in Milwaukee. But still, it's a sign of things to come. In Texas, we don't have those. But we had big gross roaches. I thought I hit ( Read more... )

my favorite thing about louisville is the farmer's market. it's two blocks away from my house, every saturday till december 20. i go every week and then I come home and take pictures of my score with Jeff's fancy camera. it's my saturday morning ritual and it makes me really really happy. Here's a little sample of the last two weeks.

apparently it's a margaret atwood quote, but i wasn't smart enough to know that on my own.

Just to let you know, I am safely and happily in Austin. I started my fancy new spa job Monday and I love it. I haven't unpacked everything, and I don't know how I'm going to fit in Jeff's tiny apartment, but we'll manage. We are both pretty small.

besides who needs space when you got love?!
