I think of spanx the way I do of heels and make-up, they serve a purpose, they're all bondage devices that women willingly inflict on themselves for vanity. we'd be better without them but I can't help living in my culture and sometimes the pressure to squeeze myself in is greater than the pressure of the squeeze itself. I'm looking forward to admiring the imprint of the seam when I take them off.
