Amazing Wedding

I'm pooped. But my friends D and B got married tonight. So gorgeous. An outdoor wedding and reception in the same place: a back yard. Very emotional ceremony, plenty of people I knew were there. Crazy cheering when they kissed/finalized the bond. They went thru so much to get here and it is great to be part of it

I'm relieved the spanx hasn't caused any permanent damage and you're out of them now :P The horror!!

the seam only left a mark in my skin for a few minutes and who knows maybe the compression saved my life? I've read that compression garments for athletes help them control their muscles better when they're tired because their skin gives them more feedback, more feedback fewer mistakes. so the spanx may have kept me from falling down the stairs? Or my butt from bursting out of my dress, saving me death by embarrassment.

Haha okay, I suppose it's theoretically possible that the spanx saved your life. I'm now grateful to spanx that you are still here and will be polite to them from now on, never saying another disparaging word about them!

Weddings are usually joyous, beautiful occasions. I plan to have a courthouse wedding and Church wedding one day.

You must feel better to be out of your shoes. Glad you had a lovely time :)

I typically don't wear heels or "nice" shoes. I'm already plenty tall and I don't like them, so it's a relief to not have them on. I probably don't wear them right.

Yes, the inventor of heels has to be a man. Who else would torture us? hehe. I don't wear heels often and I'm average height. Heels make me move around more slowly and I like to be able to walk faster, so I try not to wear heels. I probably don't wear them right either.
