I just realized that LiveJournal used to be where I came to make things public, but now it's where I put something I want to keep relatively private.  
I wonder what that says more about- the changes in social networking, or me

For those I haven't let know yet,  my father passed away early this morning.  I haven't processed it yet, really, and I'm doing fine.  I'm staying at the shop tonight so that I'm not alone.  Just wanted to let you all know. 

Flipping through my headlines I saw that some magazine was challenging it's readers to sum up Michael Jackson's life in 6 words.  Here is my unofficial attempt.

"Talented man-child.  Maybe screwed kids."

Apparently it can make my entire day feel better, so that's good :)
