Anybody wanna go see the A's play the mets next weekend? I promise I won't be too obnoxious! The tickets I'd be buying are $15-20. I've never been to Shea, and it looks like the only chance I'll get to see my team this year. Let's watch Smullen's team writhe in agony!

You're lucky that they're playing locally (I mean, against the Mets. I don't think there's any force on earth that could get me to Yankee Stadium. I would say the same of Fenway, except that starting in three months that's the only baseball I'm going to get for a while). The Orioles are playing the Padres this year--at Petco. Luckily I've already seen the Padres beat the Nationals this year.

I'll come up and visit you at some summery point (you have no option here). I want to see Fenway before I die, or it dies, or the A's die, or something. What? APOGEE! This fall would be fantastic, because it'll be right in the middle of the Red Sox's annual August Freefall, while the A's will be having another 23-3 month. Also, I guess you'll be there, so that's cool. Maybe I'll coerce someone into driving me, and park it somewhere near Harvard, which I will then proclaim to be Harvard Yard, and be obnoxious thereafter.

Re: Boston. I kinda don't trust my car to make it to and from Boston, but I'll consider it. By the way, I know it's semi-impossible to get Red Sox tickets, because Fenway is sold out from now until the end of time, so I'm wondering how you're planning on procuring said tickets.
