So I finally got my fairly new Dell Laptop up and running again.  Hashem decided that my life was going to be too easy so he arranged for our internet to start having intermittent problems.  Today a verizon support person was at the house for over 6 hours.  He partially fixed the problem and has put in another service call for me for them to do ( Read more... )

Went to monsey Thursday with my out-of-town guest C and a new local friendzevabe .  We ate out at a KYO a japanese and sushi restaurant.  The food was good and the service was very nice.  Then we spent an hour in a bookstore.  Headed over to "the kosher mall".  There we shopped for clothes, wine, food, and more books.  While there I bumped into the ( Read more... )

I and a couple of friends will be visiting Monsey for a bit on Thursday afternoon. Our current plan is to get into monsey 1ish.  To grab lunch, wander around the "kosher mall"/rockland's kosher, and head for home again 5ish.  If anyone is in the area and would like to meet up with us let me know.  I'm screening comments for internet safety.

I'm using FrontPage 2003.  I want to create a custom template for compugraph designs.  I have no experience  with real HTML.  When I search in help it gives me options to learn how to create a "frames" template or a "dynamic" template.  I have no idea which makes more sense for me.  Any advice?

For the most part everything is good.  My Dell is mostly up and functional.  So I'm online again.

My health is staying fairly steady. I accidentally went off all my meds for 2 weeks and realized that I've been underusing my anti-anxiety meds so we had a tough few weeks.  But I seem to be back on track and we have put things into place to prevent ( Read more... )

I've been away for a few months and expect that may continue until I get my new computer replaced by Dell for hardware problems and hopefully I'll also get my old computer up and running so I will have a back up for when my dell system is down.

We were discussing an LJ post and after llennhoff  started by explaining to me that the work "kitsch" is an English word to which I replied "I'd never heard that word until I started moving in Jewish circles" he did a quick we search and found out... yep it is a German word to which he replied "you are right as always".
