• Pack for Grace (including diapers/wipes)
  

Hey any mama's out there...
Grace is turning one next week (!!!)  I plan on making her a no sugar pumpkin cake with a no sugar cream cheese frosting (although I haven't found a recipe for that yet... anyone have one?) and I want to introduce the cream cheese ahead of time to be sure she's not allergic.  Any idea's for introducing it to her?

We had a great weekend all in all.  On Friday night we stayed home, rented a movie from red box, and had too much junk food.  Saturday Chris let me sleep in until noon (wahoo!  Of course I was up to nurse Grace when she woke up in the morning) and then we cleaned like crazy.  We even took everything out of the fridge and took out all the shelves ( Read more... )

Grace has her first cold and it's so sad.  She's got a runny nose, sneezing, and watery red eyes.  That makes it sound like allergies, but she has those too, and this is not that.  I hate seeing her so miserable.  Last night we were up...a lot, to say the least.  She couldn't nurse b/c she couldn't breath, and she also could not suck on her ( Read more... )

We're going away for a few days to a friend's cabin on a lake.  I'm really excited to get away from TV, phone, computer, etc.  Normally I like to stay connected to the world, but there are times when I just want to shut it all off and just connect with my husband.  So we're off tomorrow morning and we'll be back Thursday night.  I'm looking forward ( Read more... )
