I called in sick yesterday--for the first time in four or five years. I've missed work for other reasons--accompanying groups on field trips, court with the ex, appointments, more court with the ex--but even though I don't always feel great, I am seldom actually sick. Near the beginning of January we had a significant snowfall. Almost two feet of very wet snow fell in less than 24 hours. Where does all that snow go when it melts? We don't know yet. It doesn't seem to matter how hard I try, I still seem to have to dig up to break even. Last week was just one of those weeks. Good things happened--the Sox broke the 86-year curse.
