Sometimes the kitten charges from across the house, leaps into my lap, throws his arms around my neck, and snuggles me like Timmy's down the well and the only thing that might save him is if Kissa rubs his face on my chin and purrs loudly.  Because sometimes a 13-lb cat needs a hug right away!

I could cry with joy.

We celebrated with champagne at Johnny's Irish Pub.

Life is good.  To think a descendant of slaves would live to see a black man in the highest office in the country.

(ps- I voted early and I'm so excited.  I don't know about wher you lived, but people were cheering when they left the booths, and more than once today some one saw my sticker and shouted "Go, Obama!"  I couldn't be more excited)
