This Thanksgiving included tofurkey, vegan berry pie, and somewhat drunkenly playing playdough with my older siblings while my nieces and nephews slept 5 feet away. I'm so tired, but there's so much to be thankful for.

Getting ready to go home for a weekend. It feels more like I'm going on a vacation than going home. Right now, I'm not entirely sure where home is. I've been listening to Florence & The Machine like crazy. I find it soothing. Bought tickets for another Lady Gaga show in April.  Temporarily settled into my apartment. We officially close on our house on August 31st, and then Zak comes down. It's hard being here alone, no Zak, no Melissa, no Dori. But I'm meeting people and making friends. Going to the Toledo Art Museum tonight with Garrett and Liz (two people in the Ethnomusicology program) to see a lecture on club music. ( Read more... )
