Ugh! Lee got quite a bit of work in a town about 45 minutes from us. It cost a lot in gas and time for him to run wood back here when he's cleaning up a job. So..he had me put an ad in the paper there for free outside burner wood. Tons of people have them around here and they burn wood that you can't burn in an indoor woodstove. I feel so "homemakerish" right now. LOL My bread dough is rising while my freshly milked goats milk is pasteurizing. I LOVE it, I really think, most of the time, that I was born in the wrong century. Hiking is so good for the soul. I just had the most amazing time. I took my dog, put on my rain coat and we left. I didn't go really far, just out back of our house but if you go out back, past the neighbors hunting camp and acrossed 2 hay fields there is a beautiful gorge. I almost forgot, I am so thankful for this rain we are getting. We have needed it so badly, and it's been raining here all morning long. A nice steady rain. YEAH!!

Lee and I stayed up late last night to watch a movie. Now I remember why we don't usually do that..today is pretty much shot. LOL It was fun though. :)

My Aunt called tonight and she is GIVING me her horse!! I am SO EXCITED!! A lot of the reason Lee sold Duke wasn't because of what it cost to keep him but what he was worth to sell him when we needed money for us to get into our addition ( Read more... )
