At least all the heavy rain made things really green!

Gia loves school. When she comes home, all she wants to do is play "teacher". At least that way we know exactly how her teacher teaches....she copies her to a T!

despite the damage, its pretty there! You should take more pics when trees arent trying to take out cars :P (it looks a lot like what we saw of cali, but prettier :))

I have a bunch of pictures of houses that I took while out on this little drive. The homes are amazing and I will post those soon. This area of Phoenix is really beautiful and people overlook it.

It's amazing! HUGE trees....just cracked in half! Then there were tons of power poles that fell down too! Some people still don't have their power back on.

My grandmother must have missed the worst of it, cause I've talked to her a couple times since then and she's mentioned nothing of it.

It really hit Central Phoenix and Tempe the worst. Usually Central Phoenix gets nothing when it rains...but that night, we got the worst of it! It's just so sad to see such mature trees gone! You know how it is, there aren't that many big trees around as it is!
