I get so much more out of livejournal by reading your posts than I do writing my own.

there are worse things than
being alone
but it often takes decades
to realize this

I got confirmation yesterday that my best friend throughout my childhood is/was addicted to heroin. I say is/was because he went to jail and rehab i guess, so maybe he kicked it? You think you are having a bad day because you got a 41% percent on an exam then you find out that one of the girls you took to prom your senior year of high school just killed herself. Suddenly that test doesn't even fucking matter any more.

I went into work today to find out that one of my co-workers died in a house fire Friday night. He was a nice kid, only 21 years old. He had only worked with me for a few weeks but it's still really shocking ( Read more... )
