You have a REALLY nice body. Just thought I'd say, haha.
And..I don't know what your opinion/belief is on this, but evidently, you are supposed to have at least 1200 net calories per day. Meaning..you eat back your exercise calories until you get to a net intake of 1200.
Because when you eat only 1,100 - 1,600 a day, and you burn 1,000 during exercise, that is leaving your organs and muscles (and your heart is a muscle..) only 100 - 600 calories, which is definitely not enough. Actually, it is very dangerous, even.
And it can put you in "starvation mode", which is why you might not have lost the weight you were expecting - HOWEVER, I must say, "only" 10 lbs in 18 days is EXTREMELY impressive, especially since you aren't the least bit overweight. Some was most likely water weight though, and even a few pounds were probably muscle loss, due to not having enough calories left-over to feed your muscles and organs.
Argh. Ha. Yeah yeah yeah... I know... I just.. I know that to truly lose 'fat' you can only lose max around 2lbs a week and have it only being fat. I also know about the whole starvation mode... I just... I wanted to drop as much weight as possible as fast as possible. I wanted to drop muscle too even. I know I know, we're supposed to want to keep muscle but... well it's just so easy for me to get muscle and look 'bulky' that I don't want it anymore.
Besides... clothes just fit better and are easier to find once you're 'thin'.
I'll have to back to trying to do it 'right' when I get to Atlanta and on a regular schedule.
Thanks for your comments. I always really appreciate them.
I completely understand. I don't really care how much muscle is left on my body once I drop the weight - as long as I'm "thin". Of course, I'd like to look tone and fit, but I'd rather look skinny..even if that means flabby skinny. I figure once I get to where I want to be, I can start eating a maintenance amount of calories and begin to build muscle.
