Monday we saw Dr Letson. He said that there were no signs of healing on the x-ray, but, according to what he saw in surg, he knew that there was some healing going on. Dr Letson has given Lisa the go ahead to progress to full weight bearing! We are so excited. She went to PT yesterday, and they started working on it. She was a little sore afterwards, but that is what Ice and Advil are for. She also got into her car and feels like she can manage the clutch with her boot on. Well, we are back in Alabama. We left Fl last Thurs and went by FSU. Talked about majors, AA reguirements and got some transcript issues squared away. It's always overwhelming to deal with academia, but we talked to the "can get it done people" and actually accomplished alot. We got to see GRanny. She and Lisa were cute with matching braces. Well after my last entry, things got interesting. Kim's house has more damage than anybody else we know. They've had to pull up all the carpet and pads upstairs and cut a piece of sheetrock out of Jordan's room. Her room is not really livable. Mitchell and Tasha are moving into an apartment Sat. Well the sun is out all bright and shiney. Mamma's flight was on schedule. So she's off for home. I hear the storm is passing between Columbia and Greenville, so she may be in the middle of it again. We had a good night. Good sleep. Lots of friendly folks around. Rain and wind, but not scary. We lost power about 6A, and they're worried that the toilets may start backing up.
