Yes, I had a week's holiday after Crown, but it has beena real disappointment. I started off with plans to take Finn sightseeing, to spend a day spring-cleaning, to meet up with friends on the Saturday evening at Eastercon etc. Well I made it was far as Bath on Tuesday, after spending Monday doing endless rounds of washing, and that was it! + Meeting Finn, and the start of a new relationship
+ My cats, which are always amusing and good company for when I am feeling lonely

Well, this trip seems to be totally jinxed. Had to fly from Gatwick on Sunday, so left home at 6am to get there in time. Virgin Atlantic lounge at Gatwick is nowhere near as nice as the one at Heathrow - my eggs benedict was clod, and the 2nd latte I had was made with ordinary milk, not soya milk I think because it left me feeling sick. ...I feel really tired today. I seem to be going through a bad patch for headaches and migraines. Monday I got to work and I felt the familiar loss of eyesight that indicates the start of a migraine. Well, the last 2 weeks with Finn here have been fun, but tiring! I somehow think we tried to pack too much in. Just got back from another Raglan.....this one was fun, despite the rain. Friday was OK, sunny at times, and warm. My class on Friday didn't happen (well no-one turned up for it, though a few people asked for the handout afterwards). Today purplemermaid, caomhinmaca and I went to tewkesbury, after a very opleasant breakfast in the deli in Chipping Sodbury. Tewkesbury was good, and despite rain on the way there, and rain on the way back, it was dry all the time we were wandering round.
