Wow, did I ever have a busy week this week. I flew home on the 24th and flew back on the 31st. On the 1st I has two internship interviews in San Fran, one at Green corps and one at the Rainforest Action Network. I got both internships, and now I'm trying to decide between the two of them. My life sucks monkey butt. I am useless. I need to get over myself and join the adult world, but how do I force myself to? *Sigh* I am feeling irritated by my lack of accomplishments thus far in life.

Happy Anniversary to me! Today was Aar's and my three year anniversary! Also it was day 2 of my new job. Also it is the start of Yom Kippur. Pretty eventful day.

Apparently today is officially "Talk Like a Pirate Day." Yarr matey, me thinks I smell a change on the wind. Tis the fall, come at last to our harbor! Last Friday I bought a bike. I know what you're thinking: Ashley doesn't spend money AND she hates exercise. Well, I bought a bicycle and biked through San Fran all day Saturday with Aaron. In 9 days I leave for California. My gosh, time has flown by. I hope by the time I leave I will be completely healed from having my wisdom teeth out. How does one get oneself out of circular thinking? I have anxiety. If I feel sick, I make myself worse by becoming anxious about it and freaking out. Taking medication could alleviate the anxiety. But I am anxious about taking the pill to relieve the anxiety, because the anti-anxiety pill could cause nausea, thus perpetuating the cycle. Wow, am I ( Read more... )

I am now finally done with college. But I didn't get the grades I wanted. But, Aar is flying in tomorrow, so I am thrilled about that. He can listen to me whine about not being perfect and then we can watch movies and fall asleep in each other's arms. Sounds like a plan.

I am bitchzilla! Hear me roar! Seriously, the people above me are playing music so loudly that...well, it's just really fucking loud! I have two days until my capstone is due! I need to 1) work or 2) sleep, neither of which I am able to do while "It's Raining Men" is blaring. I sound like a curmudgeonly old man, but bah. Oh well.
