I didn't realize that Farrells still existed! I recall fondly outings to the one in my home town, the best part of which was all the sirens and such that they would ring when having two people bring out some of the larger ice cream orders on a stretcher of sorts. If I find myself in California, I think I'll put this on the list of places to go.

Spiffy! Now for setting up places to meet with people, I've found a handy website that will help find a spot in the middle. Where was this site all those times when I was trying to find places to meet up with folks for games?

The results of Ding's water deprivation test are in: he doesn't have diabetes insipidus. The vet doesn't know what is the cause of his need to make frequent trips outside (4 again last night), so I'm losing hope that I will find out what is wrong with him. Instead, I'm making plans to adjust to Ding's new needs, though it doesn't affect how much ( Read more... )

I've decided to take a page out of JustSonya's book and share in a month of art. As luck would have it, I've completed a few mini-art projects at the art center, thanks to the drop in workshops on Sundays.

I still stink at splitting wood. And in just those few minutes outside where I was playing dodge ball with a bunch of logs (the axe stood in for the ball), my fingers froze. As I sit here, they are turning black and starting to fall off, makng it difcult to ty

It's snowing. I'm somewhat wishing I had a warm sleeping bag and could sleep outside tonight.

On Friday, Ding & I made another trip to the vet. Though he briefly improved after I added additional salt to his diet, he had returned to having accidents in the house or requiring frequent trips outside (or both). This time, he also decided that eating his dog food no longer interested him.
