Last month I joined the bakery community in LJ. People log on to the show off their creations and ask food questions. So far I've answered questions related to grinding nuts, feeding starters, and cream cheese filling in cupcakes. It's nice sharing info, it feels like I'm taking questions at the bakery.

After 3 months of waiting I am switching over to the 2nd shift at the bread factory. This means I start at 4, 5, or 7 in the am, get 45 hours of work each week, and get 2 whole days off. The Twins are now my favorite baseball team. I grew up with the Giants and stayed with them through good times and bad. But I've been in Minnesota for about 17 years and I really admire the way the Twins play and the way they operate the organization. My oldest and I went to the Guthrie last Sat. to see the Merchant of Venice. We bought rush tickets for $15 a piece and sat in $47 seats. ST has just been accepted to the Perpich school for the creative arts high school. It's a public school for juniors and seniors located in Golden Valley. He submitted four pages of fiction and had an interview. During the interview hw was asked about his inspiration for writing a story with four voices taking ther turns to tell the story. My children keep surprising me. First, L joined hockey a couple of years ago. Now S has joined a boxing gym. I have no interest in any of these things.
