Granted the only book of that series that I've ever read was "The Magician's Nephew"... so I'm not entirely sure about this... but I thinkt hey crammed the entire series... EXCEPT the book I read... into a 2 hour and 20 minute movie ( Read more... )

Ben says there is a reason for that. You need to of read the Last Battle

The incestious Susan and Peter thing.

I would have read the entire series if my step father didn't pawn them for ciggerate money...

According to Dustin, there is no reason for it. Susan wasn't even in the last battle because she wasn't "a friend to Narnia" anymore, due to her refusing to acknowledge that any of it actually took place.

I just finished reading The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and to be perfectly honest with you... this whole Lucas thing that he had going on with the Chronicles could only have helped it.

What I mean by that is that as a child I read The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and had fond childhood memories of it. But as an adult reading for the first time his backwards prequel The Magician's Nephew, followed by The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe... I have given an adults eye to a child's memory and the adult says that The Magician's Nephew was a much better book!

I'll see the movie when it's released on dvd. Until then I am content to wait.

What do you expect from Disney? Everything they touch ends up turning into a turd . . .

Here, here! Take The Sword and the Stone for example, cute for kids, but I'll stick to my book.
