Today was my physical portion of my application for TSA. I dragged myself out of bed at 6am, (which given my unemployed state I haven't bothered to see lately,) went to the gym for an hour or so and then headed home to shower, change and make/eat breakfast. I'm not sure how far anything has gotten with the TSA, but apparently I've passed the latest bar. For now I get to do the medical/physical/pee-in-a-cup rigamarole. Of course it'll be almost two weeks until my appointment. Oh well, more incentive to hit the gym even more, or stay longer.

I'm taking this as fairly good news.

I've been back for a little while. No, I have no pictures. England was a blast, except for one very wet and rainy day in which NOTHING went right. (We didn't lose our luggage and we weren't mugged, raped, or killed, but everything else was in the crapcan.) As always, I go and take my b-day weekend off to celebrate getting older and doing less than the year before. This year I have finishing painting my room scheduled for the big day itself and a tour of the pentagon with my sisters and my brother-in-law for Sunday. All of this is planned. The weekend can be qualified as good fun. Planning on a longer post later on, but right now I just got home and sleep has been a near figment of the imagination this last week. So I think I'm taking a nice nap before doing much else.
