Santa Barbara was awesome. The entire town is beautiful, from the landscapes to the people. The weather was incredible, the sights were great, and the conference was awesome. Why, exactly, do I have a pool team?

I mean, I have to put up 5 players a night. When only 4 take it seriously enough to show up, why do I even bother?

I thought my status of "the fuck-it bucket" only applied at work.

Monsters of Mock last night was AWESOME. My ears are definitely still ringing. Appetite and Shortest Straw kicked more than the usual amount of ass, and Night Prowler was believable as an AC/DC tribute. Zoso seemed to have Zeppelin down to a science. No significant improvements from last week. I did get 2 more people to join my Planet Fitness Army: Evan and Byerly. I am noticing myself getting strong, but no big body changes like the first couple of weeks. That will probably change by next week; as I'm already on the last belt hole, I'll either have to punch a new hole or my pants will fall ( Read more... )

Since restarting the Gym Routine about 2 weeks ago, I've had to cinch my belt down another notch to keep my pants on my ass, and that "head" on my bicep is coming back. Another few weeks and I'll give an update, hopefully that update will include the words "I bought/need new pants".

And damn, was it an event. Cam and I went up with him on Friday to load all of his stuff in the moving truck. We started around 11:00AM, finished for the first night around 10:30, and then woke up around 10:00 on Saturday, finally finishing and getting on the road at 3:45. But, it's all done.
