well, once i turn in my paperwork tomorrow i will have a part time job at the Cary Y. which is good cuz i can keep my Y certifications up to date. plus, it gets my foot in the door for the new Y that opens in May. many options, i just need one to come through.

job applications for parks and recreation jobs suck, cuz they are through the town. they want jobs for the past 10 years, what your salary was, exactly how many hours were full or part time, how many hours you worked a week, etc.... oh, and they want to know where you have lived for the past 10 years. and of course it has to be on their own form - ( Read more... )

ok, so jasmine will eat cat food and chicken... zippy eats turtle food, but actually likes goldfish food better... and simba eats cat food, turtle food and goldfish food. what is wrong with this picture? :)

I just took 12 little babies out of my fish tank! That's makes a total of 16, since I found some a few weeks ago. Granted there was probably 12 then too but I didn't find them until Zippy or the other fish ate them. I may have to set up a tank for just fish since Zippy keeps eating them! well, the apartment seems to be back in order. everything is taken care of. we had a 45 minute with the manager, maintenance staff and assistant manager today to sort out the "communication issues." not my fault that maintenance, the office & vendors can't communicate! anywho we got a whole week's worth of rent concession to make up for it! that's ( Read more... )

Got up at 5am to take my car in (Had to ride with Suzanne as she went to open the Y at 6am). Spent $300 on brakes (just did $300 on radiator fan). I knew I would have to do tires but now I also have to do the right front rod or something. Anyways with all the car stuff I have to do before December I am looking at ANOTHER $800! Got up and exercised early this morning. Then I spent the rest of the morning coloring, reading stories, and best of all playing with play dough! What could be more fun than that?
