Wow, such a lot has happened.

I decided not to buy the Thruxton.  I test rode it, and while it felt nice, it was just...too nice.  It felt like an imposter.  An old looking bike that rides like a smooth new bike.  It just had no mechanical character, I guess.  It was just too easy.  I decided that instead, I'll cafe-out my Honda so that it looks ( Read more... )

What a fantastic three day weekend it's been. Once again, my day off taken at random panned out to be a huge success. The two parties I attended yesterday were a blast. Work has been so busy this week.  Not so much the good kind of busy either, just a million-people-to-do-things-for busy.  I keep promising myself I'll go to bed early, but I always wind up going to bed late.  I want to see people I care about, but I'm too, too busy.

It's going to be in the teens this week.

I saw a traditional Irish band at the Tractor tonight, by name of Lunasa.  They were amazing.  And that's saying a lot, because I'm not really even into Irish music.  It was like watching fire.  I got mesmerized by flying fingers.  It's really not enough to just listen to them, you had to see them as well.  Tons of people were there to watch and ( Read more... )

It's nearly Spring again, and the sun is back.  Rather convenient, because as of tonight my motorcycle is fixed.  It's running pretty darn well.  I'm extremely excited to start riding to work again.  I'll have a ton more fun, beat traffic, and save gas.  Plus, fixing my bike is one more project I can pretty much check off the list ( Read more... )
