I got a call from Dr. Rome today. First of all, Dr. Rome is obscenely busy, so the call by itself surprised me. My watch has stopped keeping time. It still moves, but not in accordance with anything resembling our metric of earth time. Upon noticing this, I briefly wondered if my watch were the only thing keeping what had been previously stipulated as "correct" time, and in fact the passage of time had itself sped up. Life Is Uncertain
I consider this weekend a very good weekend. Between fireworks, long walks alone in the dark, good friends, and artsy adventures, I can find little about which to complain. My Hum 110 copy of The Illiad arrived in the mail yesterday. I just finished Book 1 of it. I've drawn the following conclusion about Hum 110:

Infinite Stairwell
