Yellowstone: King Lear meets Game of Thrones in modern-day southern Montana
The final few episodes of Yellowstone have now begun. I should imagine that many viewers have their own ideas of how the show will end or should end; I certainly do.

I had nightmares and woke up shivering
. . . and now I know why. Just as I slept similarly uneasy eight years ago, I woke to find that the USA is to be led, again, by the anti-democracy individual.
I had feared this all along, and I was right. And I think I know why, though this is a theory that I have not heard elsewhere.

My comment to an entry 'On further review: “Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox”' by caranfindel
I love this episode. It packs an awful lot in.
The montage toward the beginning of "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox" shows that one of the dates whom Asa kisses is an attractive young light-skinned Black woman, obviously (in hindsight by episode's end) Tasha Banes.

'The Giver,' in print and on screen
I finally got a chance to read "The Giver," albeit while sitting in the emergency room overnight at the hospital (long story is too long to go into, but, short story, I'm fine now). I have heard of this recent animated film, and heard good things about it. Having read the referenced review/analysis here, I now really want to see it.
