Some catch up then: We had a great trip to Vegas, minus the last day when I was stuck at the airport. We stayed at the Luxor, and you know I love me some pyramids, even when they have scammy slot machines everywhere. I had another strange dream this morning. I wont go into too much detail, and I will say that before having this dream I learned of 1.A huge solar flare that happened yesterday, and 2.A Chinese news report of two suns in the sky, possibly an atmospheric refraction ( Read more... )

Since moving here I've had lots of weird and strange dreams, some disturbing, some quite nice, but lots of weird dreams. It may have to do with not smoking any pot, or maybe it's the higher oxygen levels, or maybe it's just the stress of moving to a new place. I'm not sure ( Read more... )

This morning we went to have the car assessed, and D was pissed! that he lost the original estimate, because it was 100 less than the one the insurance company "lost," and it turned our morning into a brief hell, compounded by the fact that I have not had any cigarettes today ( Read more... )

We are leaving a day early, and we have almost all the painting done, possessions stacked in the garage, ready to be loaded up. We have been more tool-timey the last three weeks than we've ever been, and in a way, I'm glad to be going to an apartment where none of that is necessary. But I'll probably miss the big house, too. B&M took us out Saturday, with their friend A, and we had a picnic on the floor of T, an older, eccentric, apartment-decorated-like-a-catholic church, gay man. He even has a throne in his "Great room." He was celebrating sobriety, though, so we had pate and sparkling cider ( Read more... )
