Good good... I have my patterns!
What this means is that at tomorrow's meeting, I can run the shirt and hat I already have past the Costume Tsar, and also get the patterns approved. I don't anticipate any problems with THAT, since they're based on actual research, from the standard reference and original clothing... I think it's safe to say they're accurate. I has a paperwork.
This paperwork is a marriage licence. I also have a date for the wedding: February 29th, 2008. It's finally happening.

If you have my mobile phone number (the UK version) you'll have noticed I've gone silent on it as of the middle of December. That will continue, and you can't actually rely on that number being me any more. It'll probably get recycled, as I've just cancelled my contract and said "I don't need a mobile phone". Sewing machine, part the second
So, I hemmed up the jeans. The machine was OK with it, apart from the inseams; those were simply too thick to allow the foot to ride over them, so I finished up leaving them undone; the sewing's secure, and the jeans look fine, so I won't bother doing that final part by hand.
