Fourteen Days: The West Side Hostage Crisis
Kennedy saved the entire world in less time than it took me to move on to a new chapter. The crisis is not resolved, but a new direction is being followed.

Eleven days have passed since the alleged attempt at delivery for my still-missing CDs. Despite being promised (twice) that I'd be called soon after they took my number (twice) I'm still without Transistor Radio and The Great Destroyer. Eleven days where apparently they've been bouncing around in some substitute's inventory.

West Oly Postal Ineptitude
I recently ordered a couple of CDs from Amazon for $30. I wasn't expecting them in the mail until after the 11th. On 9/11 I looked up my tracking number on the USPS website and was informed that

It's commonly accepted that Lethal Injection is the most humane method of execution. The condemned is sedated, sometimes sleeping, and only fuzzes into a coma same as a patient on an operating table.
