My foot itches... inside the heel. Its probably from my small blister that is healing, but it feels very funny.

Since I got home I've been very run down. Not sure if it is sick or just exhaustion. I suppose being bitten by 100+ blackflies might figure into the picture too.

One set of pictures I'm pretty darn proud of is the stuff that ends up as backgrounds on my laptop.

Since it runs in widescreen, I've formatted these particular pictures for that resolution.

I write this sitting in Munising, Michigan at Sydney's Shark Bar (sisucore, you'd remember this place) getting dinner before we see fireworks over Munising Bay. sandlersbean, nanook3k and I are getting ready to hike the 42 mile Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore tomorrow which will take us 4 1/2 days to finish.

The sky was all crazy here last night so I shot some pictures of it with my new camera

Drove through two nasty storms in Iowa.. The heat lightning that proceded the storms was awesome. The actual rain that was so hard you could barely see the road or hear the radio was not.

Now I am very tired so it is time to sleep.

Nebraska just tells me no.

Does my T-Mobile cell phone connect to any networks in Lincoln? No.
Will my Cisco VPN client work through their router? No.

I'm getting closer to figuring out the VPN problem, but I'm just hosed on cell phones :(

So, I write this from the road (figuratively, not literally) on our way to visit friends in Lincoln, Nebraska for a few days.

Hopefully the drive will be uneventful and we see something interesting along the way :)
