Grief is a weird thing that hits you at weird times. I had a breakdown last night because I ran into BJ's and I saw some of those peanut butter eggs thingys that my mom loved, loved, loved. I'm back from WV and am actually at the office right now.  I am just a mess right now and I do not know what to do with myself.  We got home late Sunday night and I spent the last two days in bed.  I do not have the words to describe how sad and devastating it is to lose your mom so suddenly and at such a young age.

My mom died last night. Totally unexpected and almost immediately from a massive heart attack. We are all just so stunned and I can't even think straight. We've been up most of the night and we are getting ready to leave for WV. There are no words for how this feels. My poor father. My poor mother. We are devastated.

RUN, do not WALK to your nearest Ann Taylor - seriously, go now!!!  I just went and they have so much stuff on sale it's not even funny.  I got 4 sweaters for $80 freaking dollars.  I could not believe it and I love their clothes for work.  I got 4 sweaters that were only $19.99 each!!!

Ugh, too many martinis and too much wine. Need more coffee. Being at work hungover is so not fun.
