This past weekend, our touring adventures included:

-A walking tour of the lower east side. We went on the Multi-Ethnic Eating tour, which included snacks from different cultures that once inhabited the area. We posted a detailed day-by-day review of our tour in Egypt on myworldreviews.

We're having many adventures here in this part of the world, and taking lots of pictures. In the mean time I've managed to go through more than 1000 pictures from Egypt, pick out the best ones and upload them here

I just realized I never posted about being done my Master's. I completed, presented, and submitted my Thesis. It was approved and I am done! Hence the freedom to go on vacation. :)

I had a really good holiday. With the thesis coming to an end finally I was able to actually enjoy some time off. We got to spend lots of time with friends and family and relax for a few days. We also had quite a few cooking adventures.

On Thursday morning I printed my thesis and walked it down to the grad studies office. This was the first step toward the completion of my thesis! What a good feeling! I feel like I'm starting to see light from the end of the tunnel. Last weekend we took a short trip to visit Seattle. I'd never been there before, and we had lots of people to visit. We had 3 full days in Seattle for which Yuxi graciously hosted us.
