OH do I understand your pain, I, too, am the grammar Nazi at my place. The latest thing driving me crazy is our new pared down PriceDriver product which the nimrods keep trying to name PD Lite - Lite is a beer and barely that . . . I wonder if they have heard my muttered ponderings on doing certain marketing people since we had a mandatory "Avoiding Violence in the Workplace" seminar. . . . sigh

What's really scary is going over a powerpoint for a high school class and seeing multiple flagrant spelling errors. What took the cake? A photo tagged: "Diner Servise, Peterhorf Palace." >< Isn't it a part of the requirements for highly qualified teachers that they be able to spell? Occasional errors happen, I don't mind those. But it's a point of professionalism to get it right if you're teaching people this stuff and expect them to use proper spelling and grammar. Also, some of their facts on the Hapsburgs were incorrect. It makes me twitch.

Part of the time, I teach, and when I do, I mostly teach teachers (who mostly are looking for a career change). The place where I teach requires student evaluations of faculty. I get most of my negative comments on my requirements that formal written assignments be correct in grammar and style. Some call it unfair, since this isn't an English class.
My own two recent favorites-- a reference to an "Ompierre style" gown on a fashion show a call to a meeting of the "adjectprop committee" of a student political group.
These, as in the last example, are not merely spelling errors, but exhibit a total lack of knowledge and (probably) interest in what the terms actually mean.
(leaving with the image of two hotdogs with fries in a basket, or a choice of soup or juice with any entree at the palace--which is equipped with a gold plated counter and ermine lined swivel stools.
