Last night I went to Sacco's New Year's party and I had fun, even though I always feel weird at parties because basically, I'm weird. I started rereading my favorite book in the world the other night. The book is called "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet, and it is an amazing book. I first read it in high school for a class, and I became hooked on this guy and started reading more stuff by him. Well, none of his books surpass this one, though he is a great writer. I bought a pair of shoes today to take to NYC since it's too cold to wear flip flops. I had to lace these shoes, and I couldn't figure out how to do it at first because I haven't laced a shoe in literally 5 years or more. I think it's time to stop wearing flip flops, Birkenstocks, and heels so much.
