My first pregnancy post!

Thank you all so much for your sweet words.  It's so nice to log on here and find you ladies nice words of encouragement.  We are very excited about this.  Alittle shocked but I guess thats okay.

Finding out
Well I have very long cycles so when I was 33 days I really didn't think anything of it.  My cycles are usually about 34-35 days long.  Well

Didn't another one of your friends announce her pregnancy recently and you thought it'd be fab to be pregnant at the same time? I can see how you'd be nervous since you weren't really trying in a focused way. Congratulations. It sounds exciting!

i was nervous early on, too, and was super careful about what i ate, etc. it's all so unreal in the beginning. you can't feel movement, etc. i think our minds were eased at 12 weeks when we did the ultrasound that screens for certain birth defects and heard and saw the heartbeat, etc.
