The news story is inaccurate and misleading, as is the wikipedia article.

This summerizes somthing about information in our culture.

Trying to stay one step ahead of... bad things. Using tools ill-fitted. Pop.

If you would like to know somthing about me, know these two things. I love the movies Elizabethtown and Life Aquatic even though they are both, by most accounts, failures.

The ideas they play around with are so deeply powerful for me, that they overcome the fact that they are indeed failures.

So the slightly overweight man was in love with his middle school friend, but she was clearly out of his league. Still, he enjoyed spending time with her.

Together then traveled the toiled of high school, joking and enjoying joys and sorrows. The pains of growing up.

Her father was insane, and may have been molesting her? Schizophrenic.

Just watched Michael Clayton. Not a great movie, not a  bad movie.

But there is power in the ambiguity of the manic depressive going off his meds, being clearly insane, and being the character that throws the rock under the wheel.
