I've been encouraging Hubby to call his sister in Pennsylvania more often, and yesterday I happened to walk through the room as he was chatting with her. I only caught the tail end of the conversation, *Man, if you cook that spaghetti squash, don't do what my wife did.* *Yea, they really explode*.

I used to abhor the idea of children making Christmas lists. To me it seemed greedy, rude, and selfish, but as the years have gone by, I've relaxed my stance a bit. Hubby and I were outside enjoying the deck when we noticed something we'd never seen before.
